The city’s nightlife just got a little safer thanks to the Bulawayo police, who apprehended Nhlanhla Ncube, one of the suspects behind a string of armed robberies at local nightspots. But don’t celebrate just yet – the rest of the gang is still on the loose, and they’re heavily armed .
This crew of thugs stormed two nightclubs in one night, brandishing pistols and knives, and making off with cash, booze, and phones . They even threatened to kill a bartender when she said she didn’t have access to the safe. Talk about a bad night out!
Thanks to a tip-off, police raided Ncube’s hideout in Cowdray Park and took him into custody. Now, the police are on a manhunt for the remaining suspects: Learnmore Sibanda, Maxwell Moyo, and Farai Sibanda .
Inspector Nomalanga Msebele is urging anyone with information on the whereabouts of the suspects to come forward . Let’s hope the community comes together to help the police catch these armed robbers and bring them to justice .
In the meantime, patrons and bar staff should breathe a sigh of relief that one of the suspects is behind bars . But let’s keep our fingers crossed that the police catch the rest of the gang soon .
