H0rny Boy (17) S3xually Molest Neighbour (45)

H0rny Boy (17) S3xually Molest Neighbour (45)

A Form Four learner from Chigodora, Mutare, was left with egg on the face after he was exposed for repeatedly pestering his family’s 45-year-old neighbour for ƨǝxuɑl favours.

The 17-year-old is alleged to have stolen his parents’ phones and used them to try and lure the 45-year-old Tamari Pangira into bǝd.

The matter appeared before Headman Chigodora recently.

Pangira said she was stunned by the teenager’s relentless attempts to get ƨǝxuɑl favours from her. He said the teenager is of the same age as her daughter.

Pangira said what infuriated her the most was the teenager’s parents’ reluctance to deal with their son’s uncouth behaviour after she brought the issue to their attention.

“I met this boy the other day when I was not feeling well and he grɑbbed my brǝɑƨts and butt0cks and started f0ndling them, begging me to slǝǝp with him. I shoved him away and went away.

“I approached his mother and told him that his son had ƨǝxuɑlly m0lested me. I begged her to reprimand him, but she did not do anything,” said Pangira.

She said the teen then approached her and asked her provocative ƨǝxuɑl issues.

“He said he l0ved me and that he could look after me and my daughter. I asked him why he was not respecting me since I am old enough to be his mother. He told me that he is old enough to bear children with me. He lied that he was 21 years old, but I know that he is younger than my own daughter who is 18,” said the woman.

Pangira said at one time, the teenager stormed into her bedr00m and begged her to slǝǝp with him.

“I almost assaulted him because his advances irked me. He even said I was being unfair to him as I was sleeping with everyone else in the village. This is a lie. He tried to win my heart by bringing me groceries, but I refused to sleep with him,” said the woman.

Pangairi a said the teenager once gave her US$10 and five phones that she kept as evidence to present to his parents.

However, the minor’s parents allegedly took the phones without solving the issue.

Asked about how the phones ended up in Pangira’s possession, the teenager said he was selling them.

“I was selling those phones. I never asked for ƨǝxuɑl favours from her. She is lying. She also lied to my parents that I was prop0sing l0ve to her. She told me that she was looking for a phone to buy and I gave her the five phones to choose the one she wanted.

“She went to my mother behind my back and told her that she had my phones as evidence that I was asking her out. Why would I want her as a l0ver? She is way older than me and her daughter is my friend,” said the teenager.

The teenager’s mother, (name withheld to protect the minor’s identity) said at one time Pangira came to her house to apologise for lying against her son.

“These are all lies. My son never proposed l0ve to her. When Pangira first came to us raising the issue, his father severely beat him up. He failed to attend school as a result of the beating. If he was guilty, he would have confessed, but he never did. We never turned a blind eye to the issue. We tried to reprimand our child, but he is innocent,” said the woman.

In his ruling, Headman Chigodora told the family that it takes the whole village to raise a child. He said the teenager’s parents should protect their son as this might come back to haunt them in the future.
