Tragedy struck Harare Gardens yesterday as a woman lost her life after being st@bbed by a thief. Norest Chimusoro, a resident of Harare, was fatally st@bbed by an unidentified suspect who had allegedly attempted to snatch her cellphone. The incident, which occurred on February 8, 2024, has sent shockwaves through the community.
Confirming the devastating event, Assistant Commissioner Paul Nyathi, the National Police spokesperson, disclosed that investigations into the incident are currently underway.
“Police in Harare are investigating a case of murder which occurred at Harare Gardens Park on February 8, 2024, in which Norest Chimusoro d!ed.
“An unknown male suspect allegedly tried to snatch a cell phone from the victim before he grabbed the victim’s hand and st@bbed her indiscriminately with an unknown object. Anyone with information to report at any nearest Police Station,” he said.
