In the wake of St George’s student, Ashley Masendekwa’s death, a video has emerged showing his last moments before he was involved in a horrific car accident.
Ashley Musendekwa who was the deputy head boy of St George’s College and an Upper Sixth student died in a horrific car crash on Wednesday evening. The car he was driving reportedly collided head-on with a Koala Park Abattoir truck.
The accident occurred along Harare Drive in Mt Pleasant.

In the short video which has since gone viral, Ashley can still be seen at the school premises walking around at what looks like the car park.
Someone in the background taking him a video can be heard asking him, any final words. Responding, Ashley said;
“You only appreciate something when it’s gone.”
The touching video has sparked a flurry of reactions on social media. The video left a lot of people heartbroken and mourning the loss of such a young life. Reacting to his last words some social media users opined that he knew he was about to about.
