Two truck drivers, Richard Ncube, 48, and Alex Moyo, 22, from Bulawayo, appeared in court facing charges of aggravated indecent ass_ult for allegedly s3xually ab_sing a man they gave a ride to.
The victim had boarded their haulage truck at Halfway, Chegutu, on November 10, 2024, around 11 pm, seeking a lift to Chitungwiza via Harare.
Upon arriving in Harare the next day at 1 am, Ncube parked the truck at Zim Meal Company in Waterfalls. As the victim dozed off, Ncube allegedly began caressing him, prompting the victim to ask him to stop.
However, Moyo intervened, thre@tening the victim with a gun-like object and ordering him to comply with Ncube’s actions.
The victim reported the incident at ZRP Mbare the following morning, leading to the arrest of the two drivers.
They were remanded in custody until November 19 for their bail application
