A shocking turn of events has shaken a local couple’s marriage. A husband is alleged to have deceived his wife out of US$2500, money meant for their household expenses.
According to the wife, her husband had given her US$3500 to keep, but when she went to retrieve the money, US$2500 was missing. The wife was left with only US$1000.
In a desperate search for answers, the wife turned to a local church for guidance. To her surprise, the church revealed that her husband was responsible for the missing money. He had allegedly used it to pay lobola (bride price) in a secret ceremony in Landas, Chihota.
