The incident occurred on Thursday, and the woman, Itayi Chingoka, has been admitted to Makumbe District Hospital for treatment.
The situation escalated during a domestic dispute between Itayi and her husband, Lazarus Brazara, who is known by the nickname Kakaka.

According to Itayi, her husband appeared to be drunk when he returned home that day.
“I warned him about using bad language since our children were present,” Itayi explained. Unfortunately, the argument took a v!olent turn when Lazarus took a pot of hot porridge and splashed it on her face and body.
As a result of the burns and injuries sustained during the incident, Itayi has found herself unable to continue breastfeeding her newborn daughter.
Now, she is seeking help and support as she recovers from her injuries.
Lazarus was arrested by the police in nearby Chinamhora and was questioned about the incident.
However, he was later released, and attempts to reach him for his side of the story have been unsuccessful.
This distressing event has raised concerns about domestic v!olence, and Itayi’s plight highlights the d@ngers that can arise from such disputes.
