Chinese-born Singaporean actor Jet Li made his first public appearance in over a year and declared that he is ‘well and alive’.
The 60-year-old actor has been plagued by rumours of his d*ath for years after a viral photo of him looking frail was circulated.
“There are still rumors in China saying that I’ve d*ed. It’s been 10 years,” Li said with a laugh while promoting his book Beyond Life And D*ath: Jet Li Looking For Jet Li.
The Bodyguard from Beijing actor said he was still surprised that people still fell for online d*ath hoaxes about him, like the one that circulated in the Philippines claiming he d*ed on May 26, 2018.

The star said his health took a heavy knock a decade ago when he was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism.
He told the audience that keping an optimistic outlook has helped him deal with the illness.
