After photos of controversial businessman Wicknell Chivayo and his new girlfriend, Lulu Muteke, went viral, his ex-wife Sonja Madzikanda expressed her thoughts on the matter.
Chivayo recently showcased their vacation in Victoria Falls on social media and announced plans to pay a bride price of US$100,000 for Lulu.
Sonja took to Instagram to address her followers, sharing her perspective on Chivayo’s new relationship.
“If he has moved on and has found love and wants to be a better guy for this chic, then to be honest with you, we should all clap hands and say well done,” she said.

Reflecting on her past connection with Lulu, Sonja described her as “absolutely beautiful” and reminisced about baking scones for her.
She expressed optimism for the couple, noting, “I am sure she and Wicknell will make a lovely couple, and if it ends in marriage, good for them.”
Her remarks come after her tumultuous divorce from Chivayo, which followed seven years of marriage filled with public disputes and drama.
The couple tied the knot in a private ceremony in 2017, with a bride price of US$50,000 at that time.
Sonja concluded with relief, stating that Chivayo’s new chapter means “anything to do with him in 2025 has nothing to do with me.”
