Real Madrid president, Florentino Pérez has revealed that Toni Kroos was one of the best midfielders at the club and it will be very difficult to see someone like him again.
“It will be very difficult to see someone like Toni Kroos again, one of the best in our history,” Pérez said.
This comes after Real Madrid struggling to find Toni’s replacement in the midfield area after the Germany international retires from football. The former Real Madrid maestro ended his football career at the end of 2023/24 season.
Toni Kroos’ outstanding performance during the 2023/24 season helped Real Madrid to win the 36th League title, the 15th Champions League trophy and the supercopa de Espana. Perez added Kroos on the list of greatest lengends of world football and his farewell was unforgettable.
“He’s one of the greatest legends of world football. His farewell on May 25 was moving, unforgettable,” he added.
Toni joined Real Madrid in June 2014 and spent 10 years with the club and won 23 titles.
