Umkonto WeSizwe(MK) party founder and former leader, Jabulani Khumalo has been denied entry in Parliament to be sworn in as Member of Parliament.
According to sources, Khumalo was sent a formal email by the National Assembly informing him that his name was not appearing on the official Parliament membership list.
The email read, “Your name does not appear on our membership list and as such no arrangements will be made for you to travel to Cape Town for swearing-in as a member of the National Assembly”.
However, he took urgent legal action seeking reinstatement on the list which was blatantly denied.
