Citizen Coalition for Change interim leader, Hon. Jameson Timba, and the Avondale 78’s case has been moved to July 24th by the Harare magistrate.
The opposition activists appeared in court today, July 10th, and their court session commenced at 8:30 a.m., earlier than previously scheduled.
In a statement seen by newsreportzim.com, former Member of Parliament and deputy spokesperson for the Citizens Coalition for Change, Ostallos Siziba, highlighted that the case of Hon. Jameson Timba and the Avondale 78 has been adjourned until July 24th.
“Hon. Jameson Timba and Avondale 78 case has been adjourned until July 24th. Note that the court session commenced at 8:30am, earlier than the previously scheduled 11am. The regime is clearly rattled, as this case exposes their scandalous actions. The delay tactics won’t deter us from seeking justice!,” the statement reads
The opposition activists will mark 38 days in pre-trial detention since their arrest.
