Sean “Diddy” Combs’ mother, Janice Small Combs, expressed her heartbreak over the serious accusations against her son, claiming they are lies.
Diddy, arrested for s3x trafficking and racketeering, is currently in a Manhattan jail after being denied bail.
In her statement, she acknowledged that while her son has made mistakes in the past, he is not as terrible as portrayed.
She emphasized the pain of watching false narratives created about him and mentioned a leaked video showing him hurting his former partner, Cassie Ventura.
Although Diddy settled a lawsuit with Ventura, Janice believes this decision was misinterpreted as an admission of guilt.
She suggested that some accusers might be motivated by money and urged for her son’s story to be heard.
Diddy is set to return to court on October 9, where his lawyers will argue for his bail release.
Prosecutors have previously claimed he poses a risk to the trial by trying to interfere with witnesses.
