English Premier League champions Manchester City have accepted Atlético Madrid’s final bid for the Argentine forward Julián Álvarez.
The two clubs have been in discussions, which have progressed well over the last 24 hours. Atlético Madrid will pay €75 million plus €20 million in add-ons, making it a record sale for Manchester City.
According to Fabrizio Romano, newsreportzim.com has learned that Manchester City and Atletico Madrid have agreed a deal for Julian Alvarez worth up to £82m (€95m).
“Manchester City confirmed to Atlético Madrid that their final proposal for Julián Álvarez worth €75m plus €20m add-ons has been accepted,” Romano confirmed.
Currently, Atlético Madrid and Álvarez were in negotiations. After Álvarez agreed personal terms with Atlético Madrid, Manchester City will authorize Julián for medical in Spain.
If Álvarez join the Spanish side, he will play alongside England international midfielder Conor Gallagher who already say “yes” to join Atlético Madrid from Chelsea.
The midfielder set to sign a five-year contract with the Spanish side, Atlético Madrid.
