The German FA have rewarded the senior national team’s head coach and manager Julian Nagelsmann after a strong Euro 2024 start.
Germany manager Julian Nagelsmann’s day went from good to great on Wednesday when his two-year contract extension was validated to 2026 World Cup after thrashing Hungary 2-0.
Newsreportzim.com has learned from Fabrizio Romano’s X post that Julian Nagelsmann’s contract is now valid until 2026 World Cup.
“German Federation confirm Julian Nagelsmann’s contract is now valid until World Cup 2026,” the post reads
“There was specific clause in agreement with the head coach to extend right after the access to Euro 2024 knockout stage.”
Julian’s men have impressed so far on home soil. They opened the competition with a thumping 5-1 win over Scotland.
German is now top of Group A with six points after thrashing Hungary, so they have confirmed their place in the round of 16, where they will face the runners-up of Group B or C.
