Former ZANU-PF leader, Saviour Kasukuwere, has openly rejected the proposed 2030 extension of President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s term, calling it political adventurism and abuse of the constitution.
In a statement on X, Kasukuwere urged all Zimbabweans, regardless of political affiliation, to unite against the proposal, declaring that 2030 will never happen.
He said
The 2030 madness being proposed in some quarters is unacceptable and will be resisted. This level of political adventurism and abuse of the constitution needs every Zimbabwean regardless of political affiliation to fight it together with others. 2030 will never happen, never!👎
