Women have been urged to stop collecting bus fare from their loved ones when they know they are not going to show up, according to a social media commenter.
In a post, the user noted that it is unacceptable to accept the money when you know you won’t show up.
“Stop accepting transport fare from men when you know you won’t show up,” a woman urged her gender after someone took N20,000 from her brother and failed to appear, claiming a stomach ache.
Angered by the incident, the sister of the man who was duped decided to address the matter publicly by posting a video on social media. She urged women to refrain from taking money from men if they do not intend to visit. She also advised men to stop sending bus fare to women.
