Mashonaland West Constituency legislator, Mutsa Murombedzi has expressed her strong criticism towards the National Youth Service.
She has detailed that the programm is just like the notorious “green bombers” and the Border Gezi training centers, which were associated with political vi0lence in 2008.
She said:
“On the National Youth Service l am very skeptical to be honest because the National Youth Service we know it is as the “Border Gezi”, we know it is a s the “Green Bombers”, we know it is as the “Violent Militia” which committed a lot violent crimes in 2008.
As you know the run up to 2008 rerun as l am skeptical, l am not too sure what the youth in Zimbabwe need are jobs, what the youth in Zimbabwe need is empowerment, what the youth in Zimbabwe is a better future for them, what the youth in Zimbabwe need is are equal opportunities for all, so if we are subjecting our youth to militia training to border Gezi training that is not what the Youth in Zimabawe want……….”
