Leicester City, the former Premier League champions, have made direct contact with Graham Potter, the former head coach of Chelsea and Brighton & Hove Albion, considering him a serious candidate to replace Enzo Maresca.
Leicester are currently without a manager as they head into their return to the Premier League, following Maresca’s departure to join Chelsea at the start of the month.
According to Fabrizio Romano’s latest updates on Leicester City, he stated:
“Leicester City have made contact with Graham Potter as a serious candidate to replace Enzo Maresca.”
“Talks are ongoing to make a decision on the favorite option, but Potter is appreciated, and the club is waiting to decide.”
Leicester are back in the top flight after winning the Championship at the first attempt following their relegation. The club seeks a forward-thinking coach of a similar ilk to Maresca.
