The Hawks are hot on the trail of alleged online d@ting scammer Innocent Aleokhai Abinokhauno, who’s accused of defrauding multiple female victims through online d@ting scams, as well as identity theft and money laundering.
Abinokhauno is also wanted for failing to appear in court, and a warrant has been issued for his arrest. It’s believed that Abinokhauno used online dating platforms to target vulnerable women, building fake relationships before asking for money.
This is a classic move by online d@ting scammers, who often use emotional manipulation to get their victims to send cash.
The Hawks’ Serious Commercial Crime Investigation team is leading the charge, and they’re urging anyone with information on Abinokhauno’s whereabouts to come forward.

In a separate incident, two suspects, Mluleki Nkosi and Mhlongishwa President Magagula, were busted for transporting R1.7 million worth of compressed cannabis from Gauteng to Cape Town.
They made a brief appearance in the Kuilsriver Magistrate’s Court and have been denied bail until their formal application on October 7.
