Self-proclaimed Prophet Madungwe has reportedly received money from Jan Jam store (a clothing store chain in Zimbabwe) to partially pay his rental arrears.
The company extended this gesture after the prophet disclosed on social media that he was facing eviction from his place of residence.
According to reports, during a call with DJ Ollah, Prophet Madungwe did not disclose the exact amount he received but appealed to others willing to help.
A few days ago, Madungwe has been in the headlines after failing to pay his rent for four months, owing his landlord US$800.

Meanwhile, during an interview with the media, Madungwe responded to advice from people urging him to sell the car gifted by Wicknell Chivayo, stating that it belongs to God.
“When Chivayo gave me the car, it was dedicated to God. It is no longer in our hands, and it is not mine,” he said. He referred to the biblical verses of Hannah and Samuel to support his statement.
