The Mayor of Harare, Councillor Jacob Mafume, has acknowledged the Second Republic under the Leadership of His Excellency President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s significant milestones towards Harare achieving world-class city status by 2025.
Speaking during the Zimbabwe Local Government Association, “All Councillors Indaba” at the Rainbow Towers in Harare, Mayor Mafume highlighted the transformative impact of the Geo Pomona Waste Management Facility in addressing Harare’s persistent waste management challenges.
He acknowledged the facility as a “game changer” in the city’s efforts to modernise its waste disposal and recycling systems.
“The Second Republic has made notable contributions toward improving infrastructure and service delivery in Harare. The Geo Pomona Waste Management Facility stands out as a critical intervention in tackling the city’s waste management woes,” Mafume said.
