That was the fierce backlash which popular video vixen, Tariro Gezi, received on social media after she gave women some tips on marriage.
The vixen posted on her Facebook account that a woman should have money before plunging into marriage.
“To all my girls stay away from marriage if you don’t have money, you will cry.
“Make yourself a rich aunt and make the rules in your own life.
“Izvi zvevanhu vanozotanga kuti I will never leave my marriage muchigarira masofa izvi kaa.
“Please respect yourself and your mother.”
This has apparently angered some of her fans.
Below are some of their comments:
It’s always the ones with the failed marriage, the ones that have 2 kidz with different men that always want to give advice. – she_eland_

Rockshade, Makaya have more money that you so who do you think people will listen to? Iwewe or them if you failed it doesn’t mean everyone will fail. I mean you can just say it plainly that you want to be a rich aunt because you failed – and the rich aunts will get rich by dating rich married men so point you honestly don’t have. – t_u_k_a_z

My sister @tariro_gezi1 If marriage didn’t work for you, don’t vilify it. It’s God’s grace that keeps a marriage, whether you have money or not, there is no formula to marriage, same as success, when it’s meant to be it will always be, thank you. – dianah_rumbie

Please don’t listen to the advice of a home wrecker, listen to your mother’s advice not social media baddies. – i_am_vanessa_zw

Marriage is a blessing and sweet to have. The best decision I have ever done was to get married. It’s mostly those who are not married who try as much to paint marriages wit the same brush. To the unmarried please roorwai nevanhu vanokudai…..and marriage is watered with love, respect, prayers and faithfulness. – inickygenius
