Zimbabwean comedienne and socialite Mai TT is mourning the tragic death of Garry Mapanzure who died after getting involved in a horrific car accident.
Notably, Mai TT was serving time in prison for fraud when musician Garry Mapanzure tragically passed away.
The musician was involved in a fatal car accident on the Beitbridge-Masvingo Highway in Masvingo. He was a passenger in his sister’s vehicle, which collided with another car.
Following the harrowing incident, Garry sustained critical injuries and was initially treated at Masvingo Provincial Hospital. However, due to the severity of his condition, he needed specialized medical care in Harare. Tragically, Garry passed away before he could be transported.
Regrettably, Garry’s nephew, also in the car, passed away instantly. Among the victims was Langton Madima, a student at Great Zimbabwe University and a close friend of Garry. His sister sustained a broken leg and was taken to Masvingo General Hospital.
Mai TT who was recently released from prison expressed her condolences for the passing of Garry Mapanzure and conveyed sympathies to his family.
Taking to Facebook, Mai TT posted a picture of herself with the late Garry Mapanzure. Mai TT revealed that she was working on a song with Garry Mapanzure before his untimely death.
Expressing deep sorrow over Garry’s sudden passing, the comedienne raised concerns about the fate of their unfinished song now that he is no longer with us
