Joanah Mamombe, a Member of Parliament for Harare West constituency, has extended her sincere cond0lences following the p@ssing of former Dynamos and Gunners forward Norman “Lumumba” Maroto.
Taking to her X account, Mamombe said,
“Deeply s@ddened by the passing of Norman Maroto, a prolific goal scorer during his playing days at Dynamos and Gunners.
His passion for the sport endured even after retiring, as he tirelessly campaigned for the fair treatment of soccer players. Rest in peace, Lumumba.”
Lumumba di3d at a private hospital in Harare in the early hours of Friday after checking himself in, complaining of severe flu.
