A young man is said to have vanished after knocking down his family’s house, thinking he had enough money to build a new one, only to find out he didn’t have enough funds.
This story was shared in a video on social media.
In the video, you could see a bulldozer at the site where the house was being demolished. The person narrating explained that the man had made a lot of money, specifically in Zimbabwean dollars, and he decided to tear down his family home to build a bigger one.

However, when he tried to exchange the money into naira, he discovered it was only worth a few thousand naira. The narrator said that since this happened, the young man has gone missing.
The narrator explained:
“There’s this guy called Ovie who came from Ghana with $50 trillion in Zimbabwean dollars. He didn’t even change the money before tearing down his father’s two-story house because he wanted to rebuild it. But when he tried to exchange the money, he found out it was only fourteen-two (14,000 naira). As I’m telling you now, he has run away. The family is looking for him. That’s the story I’m trying to share here.”
