A disturbing incident has emerged from Beitbridge, where a 51-year-old man has been taken into custody following serious allegations of indecent @ssault against a 17-year-old girl.
The man, who is reportedly a neighbor of the victim, was entrusted with the responsibility of transporting children to school each morning as part of his regular duties.
According to reports, the accused typically started his route early in the morning, dropping off primary school students around 06:45 AM. On the day of the incident, after he had dropped off younger children, he was left alone with the 17-year-old girl who attended a secondary school in the border town.
Instead of taking her directly to her school, the man allegedly drove past the location and dangerously pressed the girl’s head between her legs, creating an environment of intimidation.
He then made a stop in a secluded area, where he reportedly attempted to assault her more violently. It is alleged that he forcibly fondled her private parts and even tore her blouse during the attempted @ssault as he tried to r@pe her.
Despite the frightening circumstances, the girl displayed remarkable courage. She fought back against her assailant, which ultimately forced him to release her from his grip.
Once safely away, the traumatized girl confided in her schoolmates about the horrifying ordeal she had just endured. She also informed her mother about the incident, who wasted no time in seeking justice for her daughter.
