Preliminary findings suggest that the victim was attempting to tamper with copper earthing at the facility, a dangerous act that inadvertently led to a short circuit.
Eyewitnesses reported hearing a loud bang followed by a power outage in the area, prompting local residents to alert authorities.
Emergency services arrived promptly at the scene, but unfortunately, the man was pronounced de@d upon their arrival.
The ZRP is working diligently to gather more information about the deceased, as well as the circumstances surrounding the incident, to prevent similar occurrences in the future.
As investigations continue, community leaders have urged residents to steer clear of electrical installations and report any suspicious activity immediately.
