The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) is investigating a tragic road traffic accid3nt that occurred on May 27, 2024, along 2nd Street, Budiriro 2, Harare, which resulted in the loss of a young life.
According to eyewitnesses, a 30-year-old pedestrian was struck by an unknown motorist while walking along the road.
The motorist failed to stop and flee the scene, leaving the vict!m to suffer from severe head injur!es.
The v!ctim was rushed to Sally Mugabe Hospital, where he was pronounced d3ad upon admission.
The police are urging anyone who may have witnessed the accid3nt or has information about the identity of the h!t-and-run driver to come forward and report at their nearest police station.
