A 34-year-old man was brut@lly att@cked by a gang of four men resulting in the tragic loss of his life. The incident occurred at Ngoma area, Gwanda in Matebeleland South Province on 30th of December 2024, in which Prosper Gumbi d!ed.
The now deceased, Prosper Gumbi was @ccused of breaking into a shop and steal cash and groceries with value which is yet to be known. According to the Police memo, the shop is belonging from Machaza Sibanda who is one of the four m-rder suspects who brut@lly att@cked Gumbi.
It is reported that Gumbi was shoved onto the boot of a Toyota Fortuner vehicle before being att@cked with unknown sharp objects on the head and legs resulting to his de@th.
Police have since arr3sted Machaza Sibanda in connection with the case and they are appealing to anyone with information which may lead to the arr3st of Machaza’s accomplices who are still at large. The outstanding suspects are identified as Nhlanhla Sibanda, Calington Dube and Briliant Moyo.
