A 44-year-old man accused of m_rdering a Durban mother in front of her family made his first court appearance on Tuesday morning. Grayson James Beare appeared in Durban Magistrate’s Court, charged with m_rder and two charges of attempted m_rder.
This occurred after James Beare reportedly st@bbed the woman to dea@h and critically !njured her family members, who were also st@bbed several times, on Hyder Road at 3 a.m. on Sunday.
The woman was pronounced dece@sed on the scene, and the two !njured individuals were transported to a local hospital. The !njured individuals are thought to be the woman’s spouse and son.

Police said that, while the motive for the de@th is unknown at this time, a 10-year-old girl who survived the incident told police that the perpetrator claimed he was st@bbing them because they supported Palestine.
