A young man named Edwin Muchekayawa was found gu!lty of murd3r by a High Court in Gweru, Zimbabwe.
The tragedy began when Edwin, who was 21 at the time, @tt@cked Passmore Shumba, a 25-year-old man, on the night of August 19, 2023.
Edwin went to Passmore’s home because Passmore was d@ting Edwin’s ex-girlfriend.
When Passmore came outside, Edwin hit him with a stone from a slingshot.
After that, Edwin ran away, leaving Passmore injured and confused.

The next morning, Passmore and some friends tried to follow Edwin’s footprints to find out who had @tt@cked him. They ended up at Edwin’s home, where they confronted him.
Angry, Edwin grabbed an axe and chased after them.
In the chaos, Passmore fell to the ground, and Edwin caught up with him.
He struck Passmore with the axe, causing f@tal injuries. Passmore lay on the ground, bleeding, as Edwin ran away.
The police were called, and Edwin was later arr3sted.
He was convicted of murder and sentenced to 24 years in pr1son. T
