English Premier League club, Manchester United has officially confirmed that Rúben Amorim becomes new Manchester United manager and head coach. Rúben Amorim will assume his managerial role at the Old Trafford from the 11th of November 2024.
According to the latest update from a prominent football journalist, Fabrizio Romano, the struggling Manchester United agreed to pay €11m compensation to Sporting and Rúben Amorim will sign a two and half year contract valid untill June 2027 plus option for further season.
“Rúben Amorim becomes new Manchester United manager from Nov 11 — €11m compensation to Sporting.
Contract until June 2027 plus option for further season,” Fabrizio wrote on his X handle.
The appointment of Rúben Amorim came after the club parted ways with the Dutch Erik Ten Hag earlir this week following poor results in the Premier league.
