A Kenyan man who migrated to the U.S. is facing difficult circumstances after a conflict with his wife, leading him to take refuge in his car.
In a heartfelt Facebook rant, the man shared his struggles after bringing his wife over from Kenya, only to find that their relationship had deteriorated significantly.
In the video, he reveals the interior of his vehicle, which contains a duvet, a suitcase filled with clothes, and a steering lock to prevent his wife from taking the car away. The challenges of his new life in America have left him feeling vulnerable and uncertain.

“I thought bringing my wife from Kenya would lead to a better life for both of us, but things did not turn out as I hoped,” he explained. “Everyone should know that when you hear Diana and I are fighting, this isn’t for attention; she genuinely wants to put me in a difficult position.”
Expressing his frustrations, he shared, “Here in America, it feels like we men are really struggling. I’m staying away from the house to avoid unnecessary trouble, as my wife is accusing me of things. Hotels were becoming too expensive, so I opted to live in my car instead.”
He acknowledged the harsh reality that, in the U.S., it’s all too easy to end up in jail, even if one is innocent.
Showing the inside of his vehicle, he pointed out the steering lock, stating, “This is my bedroom now. I’ll be living here for a while as I search for a better solution. It’s tough, and we’re not living a happy life.”
