The ceremony, which took place recently, saw Honourable Senator Apolonia Munzverengwi, the Minister of State for Provincial Affairs and Devolution for Mashonaland East, handing over the equipment to the local authority.
The equipment, which was purchased using devolution funds, includes a water bowser, a borehole drilling rig, a tipper truck, and a backhoe loader. These machines are expected to greatly enhance the council’s ability to provide essential services to the community.
