The Member of Parliament for Mashonaland West, Mhondoro, Mutsa Murombedzi, has criticised the government for the poor road network, which she claims is stalling development.
She asserted that Mhondoro is being neglected in road rehabilitation efforts.
She said:
“Thank you very much indeed it’s not the first time l am writing about the bad roads in Mhondoro,it’s one of the numerous times that l have highlighted that Mhondoro is being left behind because of the bad road network.
The communities in Mubaira, Nyamweda,all the way to Chimundazi are being left out.
The road is so bad for example,if you want to travel from Harare to a distance of 56km actually takes something like three hours to get to the destination because of that bad road……….”
