Minister of Lands, Agriculture, Fisheries, Water, and Rural Development, Anxious Masuka has advocated for borehill drilling in each and every district inorder to minimise water shortages.
He emphasised this during a session which was held this week. He further detailed that these drilling machines will improve access to clean water across the country.
“In 1980 there are a lot of groups that went around drilling boreholes in villages as of now we want to have about 100 drilling machines and each district will have its own drilling machine and if we have boreholes that were already drilled,we will not go and drill where they have been drilled” says Masuka.
