In a twitter post viewed by Newsreportzim.com, Chatunga the son of the late former President and Prime Minister Robert Gabriel Mugabe labelled Caston Mutewu as patriotic.
On his X (formerly known as twitter) Chatunga shared the following:
I’m informed that Caston Matewu will soon be the CCC President, I think he has better qualities than Nelson Chamisa because this guy is wise and very patriotic, we need more of these young man in politics of our Country, patriotism must lead.
His remarks came following some rumours that some CCC supporters endorse Caston Mutewu to run as CCC President following the resignation of advocate Nelson Chamisa in January this year.
Mutewu is a Zimbabwean politician and member of Parliament for Marondera Central Constituency under CCC ticket.
