A Norton based Music promoter popularly known as MC Elder Gadzo real name Lovemore G. Chiremba has scooped the best Music Promoter of the Year 2024 Awards. The Norton Town Awards ceremony was recently held in Norton.
Lovemore Chiremba started music promotion journey in 2005 and has continued to promote music in the dormitory town of Norton. Speaking during the ceremony, Lovemore (Gadzo) said, ” I usually uses Pakare Paye Arts Centre in Norton for my music promotion events.”
MC Elder Gadzo highlighted that he faced some financial challenges in the industry but he did not give up.
” I really face some challenge financially but, I told myself not to quit until I acomplish my mission,” Gadzo said.
Lovemore urged other music promoters to promote grass root music than heat makers and not to isolate upcoming music artists. Lovemore Chiremba urged the Zimbabwean Youths who are gifted in music to take music as a career.
