Olivier Rioux, a teenager from Florida, has set a world record as the tallest teenager at 7 feet 9 inches.
He is also regarded as the tallest player in college basketball history.
According to a post by Collin Rugg, Rioux, who recently graduated from high school, is still growing; his previously listed height was 7 feet 7 inches.
Rioux holds the title of the world’s tallest teenager and wears a size 20 shoe.
Remarkably, he was already over 6 feet tall at the age of 8 and nearly 7 feet tall by the sixth grade.
His father stands at 6 feet 8 inches and his mother at 6 feet 2 inches.
Originally from Quebec, Rioux is set to play basketball for the Florida Gators.
