In a controversial video that has sparked discussions on social media, Nigerian clergyman Prophet Ritabbi has made an unconventional suggestion for married women dealing with unfaithful husbands.
He advised these women to engage with their husbands’ side chics, arguing that they could provide valuable insights on how to maintain their relationships.
Prophet Ritabbi emphasized that a “wise” woman would seek knowledge rather than confront the other woman.

“Fighting your husband’s side chic only makes him more inclined to find a better one,” he claimed. Instead of conflict, he urged wives to approach the side chic and ask, “What is it that you do to my husband that makes him succumb this way? Help me, I am a fellow woman. Don’t let me suffer; my marriage is on the line.”
He further explained that if the side chic is a God-fearing woman, she would likely offer practical tips, such as how to cater to the husband’s preferences. “She might say, ‘Your husband likes his fingernails trimmed, he enjoys being massaged while eating, or likes affection during meals.’ This advice may sound humorous, but it holds genuine wisdom,” he declared.
In his view, nagging or fighting is not the solution for women facing infidelity in their marriages. He argued that it is unwise to solely rely on prayer when confronted with the realities of a cheating partner.
The ideas expressed by Prophet Ritabbi have stirred mixed reactions online, with some praising his candidness and others criticizing his approach.
