Mashonaland East Minister of State for Provincial and Devolution, Senator Aplonia Munzverengwi has recently handed over two buses for Wedza and Marondera hospitals.
Government of Zimbabwe under the leadership of second Republic led by H.E Dr Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa is striving to improve the welfare of it’s health workers who have dedicated themselves to uplifting the health delivery system
According to the state news, Mashonaland East Provincial Medical Director, Dr Paul Matsvimbo said the buses will go a long way in alleviating transport challenges at their hospitals.
“We thank the government for this donation as our staff have been facing transport challenges,” he said.
The province already has a fleet of buses availed to the Public Service Commission for the transportation of civil servants to and from work.
