President Mnangagwa will today commission 17 new schools at Makumi Primary School in Chikomba District, Mashonaland East.
Construction of the schools was funded through the US$20 million donated by the Opec Fund for International Development (OFID).
Among the 17 schools,there are six secondary schools and 11 primary schools dotted around the eight provinces of the country.Makumimavi School is one of the 17 schools across the country that will be commissioned by Mnangagwa on the same day.
According to source,there will be also the commissioning of rural development projects for the Makumimavi School such as gardening and fisheries.
