His Excellency President Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa, who also serves as the Chancellor of all universities in Zimbabwe, will deliver a public lecture at the University of Zimbabwe.
The event is scheduled to take place at the university’s Diamond Conference Centre in Harare on the 15th of August 2024.
The Permanent Secretary of Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services, Nick Mangwana confirmed the development on social media.
“Today, His Excellency President Emmerson Mnangagwa is the Guest of Honour at the 7th SADC Summit Public Lecture, being held at the University of Zimbabwe, Diamond Conference Centre in Harare,” the post on his X page reads.
The presentation of the Public lecture is running under the theme, “Building Research Capacity and Innovation Ecosystems for a Sustainable Industrialised SADC Economy.”
