Police in Shamva are investigating a tragic case of mob justice that resulted in the d3ath of an unidentified male adult on May 5, 2024, near Corner Store in Madziwa.
According to witnesses , the v!ctim was brut@lly ass@ulted by a group of individuals after allegedly stealing a satchel containing US$450.00 in cash.
As a result of the severe head !njuries sustained during the @ssault, the vict!m sadly succumbed to his !njuries while receiving treatment at Shamva Hospital.
The police are urging anyone with information about the !ncident or the identities of the individuals involved in the mob to come forward and report it to the nearest police station.
The Zimbabwe Republic Police continues to inform citizens that they should not take the law into their own hands and should instead cooperate with law enforcement officials to ensure a fair and just outcome for all parties involved.
