A newborn baby has tragically p@ssed away after being abandoned on the road by his mother in Anambra State.
The mother of the baby boy reportedly succ*mbed shortly after abandoning the infant in the cold.
Initial investigations indicate that the child, believed to be only a day old, was left by his mother.
The b0dy has since been recovered, and law enforcement is actively working with eyewitness accounts from the scene to pursue the apprehension of the perpetrator.
The police have characterised the act as !nhumane, vicious, and callous, resulting in the unfortunate demise of an innocent infant on the streets.
