Mozambique’s President, Filipe Nyusi, has arrived at the Robert Gabriel Mugabe International Airport to attend the official opening of the 2024 Zimbabwe Agricultural Show (ZAS) .
The event themed ‘Cultivating Prosperity. Growing Business. Innovating for Change. Nurturing our Future .
This year’s event is anticipated to attract more than 200,000 visitors and provide a vital platform for enhancing connections within the agricultural value chain.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Trade has noted that President Nyusi’s invitation underscores the commitment to bolstering the enduring ties between Harare and Maputo, particularly within the realms of trade and investment as facilitated by the Zimbabwe-Mozambique Bi-National Commission.
Upon his arrival, he was warmly welcomed by Honourable Oppah Muchinguri-Kashiri, the Minister of Defence, signaling a collaborative spirit aimed at fostering economic growth and innovation in the agricultural sector between the two nations.
