The Minister of State for Provincial Affairs for Mash East, Hon Munzverengwi, made a significant commitment to education development in the region yesterday by commissioning two new schools in Murewa district.
The newly commissioned schools, Mushawatu Primary School and Mapukutu Secondary School, are expected to provide better educational facilities and opportunities for the children in the area.
The Minister, Hon Munzverengwi, emphasised the importance of education in empowering individuals and communities, saying that it is a vital tool for building a brighter future.
The two schools equipped with modern facilities, including classrooms, laboratories and libraries. The schools will also have a team of experienced teachers and staff who will work to provide high-quality education to the students.
The commissioning of the schools was attended by local community leaders, traditional chiefs, and other dignitaries from the region.

Mushawatu Primary School and Mapukutu Secondary School were identified as priority projects in the district’s education development plan.
