Mushayavanhu seeks Zimbabweans views on how to make Zig

Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe (RBZ) Governor Dr John Mushayavanhu has announced a significant on how to make ZIG Work for Zimbabwe.

In an recent post seen by Newsreportzim.com The central bank governor, John Mushayavanhu, asks every Zimbabwean to support the ZiG, but more importantly, to suggest what will work.

He has asked Zimbabweans to be helpful and give suggestions to make the ZiG work.

I have only one suggestion:
Make the ZiG a currency that can buy anything and everything inside Zimbabwe.
Every Zimbabwean will support it!

Without that, it will collapse like its previous cousins!

Online Comments;

Tawanda Nyambirai
The tone is now much better. A listening Governor who consults all stakeholders before implementing policies that have far reaching consequences is what we need. This war will not be won by fighting money changers in the streets. It will be won if he makes consumers, business, local and foreign investors and most of all, the diaspora, see what he sees and want what he wants.

I have a suggestion: the President can surrender his Money Altering powers under the Presidential Powers Act & request Parliament to amend the law n make it explicit that no currency change will happen without Parliamentary debate. No 1:1 , No midnight bearers cheque announcement

Tafadzwa Simon Says
Did they gather stakeholders and the public to discuss the matter before they bring their failed project to us? The problem with Zimbabwean policies is that they’re elitist in nature! It’s always a top to bottom and not the opposite!
Let them first come back to the people

You Can’t Fool Me
facts!💯
