Tanyaradzwa Muchemwa, who was widely known as Blahtee Muchemwa from Blah Entertainment, has passed away.
His family shared the sad news on his profile yesterday.
They wrote:
“We are heartbroken to announce that our dear friend Blahtee has passed away. He died on the morning of Tuesday, August 20, 2024. Blahtee was not just a friend but also a brother, nephew, cousin, husband to his wife Bella, and father to his daughter Tshiamo.
As we deal with this loss, we ask for your understanding and patience while we grieve as a family and friends. We appreciate the support we have received and ask you to keep Blahtee’s memory alive and us in your thoughts and prayers.”

Music promoter and blogger Plot Mhako also confirmed his d3ath:
“I am deeply saddened by the news of Blahtee Muchemwa’s passing. He was a key figure in African music and a respected music executive. Every interaction with him was meaningful and inspiring. May he rest in peace.”
Pastor Evan Mawarire also shared a condolence message:
“This young man was determined and pursued his dreams relentlessly. He didn’t give up, and now his loss is deeply felt. Rest in peace, Tanyaradzwa Muchemwa. My heartfelt condolences to Elton Muchemwa and the family. #MoreLoaves & #MoreFish #HeavensLanguage,” he said.
Blahtee is survived by his daughter and wife.
